Although Activated Carbon Filters work like sand filters, the primary purpose of these filters is to eliminate problems such as odor, color, organic pollution, turbidity in water and improve water taste.<\/span><\/p>\n

It consists of 3 main parts: a simple sand filter and active carbon filter, body, automation, and internal media. While the sand filter uses minerals such as graded sand or zeolite as the internal media, the Activated Carbon Filter uses the activated carbon mineral in granular (GAC) form.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both types of filters can be used alone or together as a part of a standard purification system. They are generally used as pre-treatment elements of advanced treatment systems.<\/span><\/p>\n
